A buddy of mine, lifelong best friend, and I went fishing at the Carroll County lake yesterday.
He is NOT a fisherman at ALL but he wanted to go.
I worked hard at it, fought the wind, then fought the wind some more.
54 pound thrust trolling motor, 16' V bottom bass tracker and it would BARELY hold position into the wind and wouldn't gain ANY ground at one point.
Anyway, I did all I know to do and pulled out every trick I had in the USS Minnow and after 6 hours I had 11 in the box. :bash:
One good shellcracker and all the rest were a mix of about 50/50 bream and shellcracker but nothing that would blow your skirt up. But.... they will make fillets.
Caught a few small bass and one crappie while fishing with worms too.
Long tough day on the water.
