The routine is a MUST when we are duck hunting.
As I get out of the truck I take off the transom straps first, before I remove the transom saver, I make sure the plug is in, then remove the transom saver. I don't have a trolling motor mounted on the duck boat, so I will ALWAYS back the boat down and start the motor before we unhook it from the winch. (one of those experience things LOL) :bash:
We had a love hate relationship with the snow this year. As soon as water would hit inside the boat it was frozen. A pretty good bit of water got in over the 8 days in a row it didn't get above freezing. Plug ended up frozen in, and when it all thawed, you wouldn't believe how much water was in the boat lol.
