I hate trail-cam shopping!

You can get them cheaper on Ebay. The camera alone runs for about $90 and a set, camera, master lock and 8 batteries go for $119. If you want a security box, camera, lock and 4GB card it runs about $169.

I have both the Covert MP8 and Browning Dark Ops. That said both have better things about them. Night pics are better with the Browning. The 2016 Covert has black flash bulbs instead of the dark lens. So night pics may get better with the 2016 MP8's. Battery life is better on the Covert MP8(8-AA) will last for a year or longer. Dark Ops has 6AA batteries. Can't go wrong with either of those camera's. I will be trying the 2016 MP8 myself.

2 other shortcomings of the Covert MP8 Black is that it does not record HD video or sound. The Browning Dark Ops HD and the Stealth G42NG both do at the same price point.

Cabela's has them online for $99 and free shipping till midnight tonight.

Be aware that is the 2014 version of the Dark Ops (Model BTC-6) that Cabela's has on sale for $99. I have one and it's ok, but not great. The 2015 version, the Dark Ops HD (Model BTC-6HD), has been selling for about a year. For 2016 Browning has just launched the 3rd generation version, the Dark Ops Elite HD (Model BTC-6HDE).

www.chasingame.com is a great resource. I just bought a pair of Moultrie A7I Black flash units for $65.00 each on Ebay. Seem great so far. Solid reviews and I could look at the actual pictures and videos before I purchased. Some great Youtube videos on this years models with testing as well.
