It's a 2x7x40 gloss with 1" tube. Yep. Leupold don't make that combination. I have a handful of 2x7x33 Leupolds and they're great little scopes. But the 40mm objective is where it goes wonky. They never made a 2x7 with a 40mm objective. I can't remember for sure bit it seems like I bought it on 24hourcampfire.com. A couple of members there vaguely remember it being discussed on there as being sent to Leupold for repair as a 3x9 and it came back as a 2x7. Anyway, I sent pics to Leupold and the technician said it's 100% legit Leupold and not counterfeit. He said it was apparently rebuilt with the wrong parts and that I can send it in and get it rebuilt back into a 3x9 if I want. It's going on a Remington 541 S or T and I think I'm gonna leave it as is and try it for a while and maybe just keep it as a unicorn.
