On the duck thing. Everyone here thinks they're great duck killers because they have access to a 2 acre wet spot. It doesn't take Fred bear to shoot birds on a small water hole, it's a shoot not a hunt. I'm all for it, but it's not a display of skill.

The big lakes are basically loaded with boat dock birds that trade around with a few migrant birds that are just glad to see other ducks. Again, not rocket science.

Really duck hunting compared to deer or turkeys doesn't take a whole ton of skill. Ducks are simple creatures

Exactly, it takes shooting skills but does it really take hunting skills.

agree that it don't take the skills of turkey or deer hunting but some skill is required to know where the ducks will be. especially on this end of the state.

Most hunters are mainly deer hunters and hunt turkeys as just a hobby. I am the other way around.
