next weeks forecast looks like hell! i was already off for the week and now looks like that may be a wash. Ill be out there but man i hate hunting on windy and rainy days.

Yep, I've been tracking this same issue for the last few days and it is not looking all that good. I'll trust the forecast more once Sunday gets here and they have a better handle on it.

I've been watching it too but am really hoping it's more popup type storms rather than solid rain setting in all day.

I haven't looked that far ahead. As Bama always says, anything more than three days out is a crap shoot.

I'll just do what I always do, and get up and step out. If it's too bad, I'll go to work; and if not, I'll hunt and then go to work.

oh ill be out there as long as its not pouring rain but after this week just sucks to see what next week looks like its going to be. There are very few things i hate more then turkey hunting in the wind.

Yea the first week looks like crappy weather. But at least it'll be a good weather opening weekend.

Hunt just about everything

Personally the massive cold front on Friday/Saturday worries me more than warm rain. I loathe windy days and feel Saturday will be terrible.

On the positive side I hunt public land so it's fine with me if the first two weekends are a weather bust, after that the casuals will be done

Seriously the amount of hate I have for wind during turkey season is about as high as Spurs hate for people who shoot hens lol

Yeah I may sleep in Saturday and hit the woods around 9. Sunday looks promising.

The 3 birds I killed in GA two weeks ago were in a driving rain storm. They gobbled fine, and played the game as expected. I've killed piles of them in the rain, and they act fairly normal.

If I walk out my door and the wind is blowing, or if it is forecast to blow I don't even bother. If I can't hear my style of hunting is finished, and I do not enjoy hunting turkeys unless it is a conversation with them.

Hahahah forecast looks fantastic
