Interest note about UTs 2013 recruiting class

On a local UT talk radio show in Knoxville, broke down the 2013 recruiting class.

6 of the players that were signed in the 2013 class Dooley recruited:

3 - starters
3 - backups

13 or the players that were signed in the 2013 class Butch recruited:

1 - starter
10 - backups
2 - gone

Butch did have a disadvantage coming in late in the recruiting process and this could explain why so many freshman have to play this season.

Mark Stoops /Ky, Bret Bielema /Ark, Gus Malzahn/Aub, and Butch were all hired within days of each other.

Stoops at KY recruited 15 of the recruits in the 2013 class:

15 recruits / 7 starters

Bielema at Ark recruited 14 of the recruits in the 2013 class:

14 recruits / 5 starters

Malzahn at Aub recruited 15 of the recruits in the 2013 class:

15 recruits / 5 starters
