I would like for one of the TN Deer members that hunts in that area to kill it when it is on thier land, mount it, and turn the entire deer into burger meat and have a big chili cook out with it.

Probably would taste like azaleas!

Same here,they taste better if they have a collar.Id never pass one.

I would think the collar would help with "dragging out" as well.

I was just thinking "gee, sure nice of someone to put a deer-dragging handle around that deers neck for me"!!! :grin:

Richard English raises whitetails in Ohio. His deer, Flag, was gentle and sweet and wouldn't hurt a fly----- until the rut. Richard said he would never go across the fence during the rut because as tame as Flag was, he would see him as competition and most likely try to kill him.
This man in the story has just made it easier for that deer to be killed by a hunter.

Although I don't agree with making a deer a pet I would never shoot one with a collar. Be kind of like shooting a goat to me.
