I started using one this year. Zero interference with bow. Love it!Speaking of Bino's. How many of you use a bino harness. Does it get in the way while shooting a bow?

Might as well pitch ya a tent and build a fire and roast ye some marshmellows bud!A small bundle of zip ties, 4 large construction type trash bags, para cord, small roll of electrical tape, a few nails …Home Sweet Home…
Always a candle and a couple means of making fire and 2 small flashlights.
and water purification pills….that I've never used.(they could be dust now too) lol
I still carry 2 grunt calls,2 can calls( big & small) a diamond stone, spare knife (Sharpfinger) a couple pair of latex gloves, a spare pair of wool gloves, water bottle, snacks or food depending on the hunting situation.
I usually carry a extra wool shirt or sweater and an extra wool toboggan (hunter orange).
I also have a small first aid kit in my backpack.
Mostly for burns and cuts..
I use both, a Fanny pack & a backpack..and sometimes a haversack, depending on the situation.
It gets cold in the hollow..

The cameras on phones have gotten so good (and so complex) that they're getting harder to use than the pocket digital cameras used to be.The camera on my new Iphone 16 pro max is amazing, going to take me awhile to figure it all out.
I still carry a pocket digital camera. Call me old fashion but this camera has been more places than I can remember. The cameras on phones have gotten so good (and so complex) that they're getting harder to use than the pocket digital cameras used to be.
I would do the same, but most of my pocket digitals got turned into hacked trail-cameras, and the last one I owned got drowned in Buckskin Gulch in southern Utah (the longest slot canyon in the U.S.).I still carry a pocket digital camera. Amen! If you bowhunt here in extreme West TN, a thermacell is a must. When I was a teenager and in my early 20's we did not have the thermacell. You either used insect repellant or wore thick clothes along with a full headnet to keep the swarming mosquitoes off. I used to wear gloves with my three shooting fingers cut out and I remember they would be swolen from the skeeter bites.Thermacell
I can remember those days in Ga. lots of skeeters.Amen! If you bowhunt here in extreme West TN, a thermacell is a must. When I was a teenager and in my early 20's we did not have the thermacell. The old heated socks sucked…. The new ones are awesome!! No need to buy toastie toes…I too use electronic handwarmers. They are awesome! Plus, they save greatly on all the Hot Hands I used to buy. We would buy them by the case. Of course, we still buy Toastie Toes by the case...
That is true enjoyment. I hope to accomplish the same. Thanks for sharing.Cell phones/cameras are an excellent addition. I take so many sunrise and sunset photos it's almost shameful. The cameras never truly capture the full glory of it, but I can't help myself. I've been keeping a journal for a few years and taking random photos while hunting for quite a while because I want to be able to look back and match up the memories and experiences when I'm, God willing, 90ish.
Some of my favorite pictures don't even look that good. Take this guy. November 30th, 2024. The most active day I've ever experienced on our property. This was the fourth buck to appear to chase the same hot doe that evening. I took the picture because he looked right at me and just ignored me. Saw me move and everything. Just didn't care, drooled, grunted, and trotted after the doe. Terrible picture, but an amazing evening. Glad I had my phone.
