...but seems to be getting better by the day.
While the birds are still bunched up in my neck of the woods, hens are beginning to wander off from the gobblers by mid to late morning. With it being clear and calm could hear turkeys gobbling on the limb like crazy, but once they flew down it was like there'd been a turkey rapture. I saw 6 or 7 lone hens by about 9:30 and a just like clockwork, the gobblers crunk up again.
They're getting a little more workable every day; pulled the trigger on #2 just before 10:00.
