This is the University of Tennessee; not Florida, or Florida State, or Vanderbilt!

Sorry, but UT is not noted for handing out stiff punishment for violations by members of the BB or FB teams. And that's a fact, Jack!

First I have heard about it. College kids will be college kids. They are not the first to drink in college, nor the first to be underage and drink. Punishments will be dealt and Jalen Hurd will take it like a man I'm sure. He seems to be one who learns from his mistakes. I don't know whether it will be for the bowl game or not. That will be for Butch to decide.

The part where he is just a college kid and Butch will take care of it.THATS the problem I have with your defense. And when you retaliate with everything you THINK Winston did please check your facts and make it seem like you aren't a ESPN reporter for the SEC.

He IS a college student and college students WILL and DO drink alcohol. I think you are misunderstanding what I said about Butch handling it. I didn't mean that Butch would handle it as in cover it up, sweep it under the rug or whatever. The coaching staff has punished Jalen Hurd in some fashion I'm sure. I have not heard what the punishment was and probably won't. He may be suspended to some extent in the bowl game. IDK. He may have had to run the bleachers in Neyland all day IDK.
He will go to court, pay a fine and probably do community service and be on probation if I had to guess. It's not like he WILL NOT be punished.

I agree that a college kid drinking is not big news but getting a misdemeanor citation is considered an arrest and he will have to go in and be booked. When the big article came out about 32 players being arrested under Meyer... Most of those were citations... :ugeek:
