Anyone getting out on public land tomorrow for the close of season on public land?

I may try Cheatham to grab a doe. Weather may scare some people away, so it could be nice and quiet.

If I get out of bed I will. I've Killed 6 on public this year an lost another during archery

Yeah, this year has been a slow one for me. No deer down, but with changed hours at work and a new baby it was expected. Hopefully tomorrow the tide will change and I can put a nice fat doe in the freezer and that will hold me over till turkey time.

I pulled my seat cushions from my stands today and got my hunting clothes ready to wash. I've put a fork in a disappointing season, as far as killing deer. That said, I love being in the woods! I'll find some trees to cut or something to keep me out there!

Been out every day since Christmas and there was one truck out this morning. Friday had the most pressure with 15 trucks .

got settled in had to dance a log and take a different route than planned, should have had the hip boots this am

I got out on public this morning. At first when the alarm went off I muttered I wasnt going, but then I did.

Glad I did. Finally got off the schneid and got a nice doe. Skinned, butchered and ready for processing and the freezer later.

I switched to squirrel hunting the other day, hoping to track some rabbits tomorrow.
