Deserves his own thread.

So glad Pruitt gave him a second chance, and that he took advantage of it.

7 for 174 with 2 TDs is a strong stat line. Would love to know his yards after contact too-
Really the entire WR corps showed what they could do tonight. Felt like Callaway was due a big game & he had himself one.

To your larger point him & Trey Smith are good examples that there's no real division (at least that I can see & especially now) between Butch guys & JP guys. I don't know who you give the game ball to tonight but Jennings makes a strong case for it.

He's been the standout most of the season. He will certainly be missed next year. His ability to get yards after contact is unreal.

He is taking full advantage of a second chance. I hope an NFL team picks him up in the future.

A guy being missed in all that offense is DANIEL BITULI

Another senior on that Vols team who really stepped it up and will be missed.

15 tackles.
2 tackles for loss.
1 pass break up.
Blocked punt, recovery, and TD.

Same guy who had 23 tackles against Georgia tech as a sophomore.

Right on. Bituli was great. Darell Taylor has himself a game too.

Yes the whole team is buying in from the true freshman back ups to the 5 year seniors.

Would have been so easy for those seniors to mail it in for the second half of the season. Instead they all played at 110% Saturday.

Love this if legit! Shoot, I love it if it isn't.

I cant think of anything last year for you to be negative about. It is amazing how ignorant some are to try to steal thunder from the season and teammate he has been.

I hope I am not the ignorant one you are talking about. A year ago there were several saying how bad of a teammate he was. Now he "deserves a statue". I'll bump the thread, and you can read the comments yourself. I don't have a dog in it, I just think some fans need to take off the orange covered glasses

Looks like that was 2 years ago. Ive agreed with others that stopped talking about rock bottom because we kept finding lower levels but regardless that particular point in time was the worst I remember in the few decades I've been on this earth watching this football team. But, that's not really the point I guess.

I've not been here long, certainly wasn't around in 2017, but if I recall at the time I remember thinking to myself "well, that's a shame". Kid obviously had talent but sometimes talent can't win out over other issues. I wasn't sharpening my pitch fork but We also didn't need other issues at the time.

Thankfully people get second chances & I don't think you can argue he's made the most of his- not only in terms of football production on the field but in terms of being a better teammate & leader...I am proud he's a Tennessee Vol

Again, I wasn't around then but I'll just lastly add that we're UT fans...we don't really subscribe to logic & reason when it comes to our athletics, particularly the football team. It's been a hell of a long row we've been hoeing these last 15 years or so.

Nobody said that last year.
