This seems to be a good place to ask this question since the trash hasn't shown up yet.

I saw no point in watching Saturday after the first couple of series, but from reports Chryst seemed to play fairly well. Do you think Pruitt would start him over JG this weekend? JG apparently took all first-team reps in practice. I admire JG's toughness, but he just doesn't have a high football IQ.

I have heard if he is ok he will play, but many think he should be on a short leash. the issue is he cannot read defenses and cannot get his protections right. Chryst is better at this. I think if JG goes in and starts getting drilled, because he can't see the field correctly you definitely put in Chryst.

Personally I think a bowl game would be huge for the development going into next year and I think Chryst would be the best option. But hey I'm not the one who's making the big bucks.

This could be a good move for UT in the future but what's more interesting is that after changing positions, Pruitt thinks the true fr. is ready to play this weekend. Could be a tough spot to be in under the circumstances.

I could see where he could have an advantage in the fact that he has played RB and knows gaps and the way RBs read those gaps. I could also see Pruitt playing him situationally maybe on 3rd and longs and just tell him to get the QB. He wont be an every down LB this year.
