speed rating. My Mathews Monster wasnt flying good with a new Apache drop away rest so when I was in Illinois hunting last week I went by a local bow shop. That was the first thing the guy looked at.He said alot of drop aways want get down fast enough. He chaulked the arms of my rest ten times and every time my fletching slapped the arms.My brothers Z7 done the same thing and he is shooting 290. He had a mission bow and a hoyt set on 55 that where not real speedy and the rest worked perfect.Im back to the whisker bisquit. It shoots great at whatever speed.

There are several rated for 400 fps if tuned to where they are timed right. My Evo packs a IBO of 345 fps and the QAD HDX, AAE Pro Drop, and Trophy Taker Smackdown all clear the 340+ bows easy. Some are rated to over 400 fps.

No problem with my Ripcord. Although, I have seen several dropaways that were not installed/timed properly and that will cause contact problems everytime. You couldn't pay me to go back to the Biscuit, even though it is a good rest.

this I shoot a monster mr6 at 307 fps with a limb driver no contact here .they all have to be tuned correctly.but you cant go wrong with a W.B.

You can't go wrong with a Biscuit, somewhat truethey are simple; but, a properly installed/timed drop away will out perform the biscuit in accuracy in almost any shooters hands.

I agree 100% but some people that dont take the time to tune and shoot alot a w.b. is perfect....I keep a w.b. in da box just for backup....but I am a limbdriver fan thru and thru

I shoot 30 inch draw with beemen ICS 400. 100 grain tip with a illunock. 3 inch fletching. I shoot over a chronograph with the bisquit at 327. Killed doe this afternoon at 40 yards. loooked like a dart. I might try one of the other drop away rest this summer but for now.I just like not see the back of the arrow waving as its going away. Thanks for all the input.

Lee I have that same rest hope mine is clearing how did you know it was hitting?
