not hardly room for ME in my kayak. thought about taking two life jackets and putting one on the deer if i got lucky. gut him out when i get back to launch site. a turkey would be no problem.
That was my thought when I was debating between a canoe or a kayak. Even with some of the larger kayaks, I just didn't see how I was going to load up myself, my gear and a deer onto one.not hardly room for ME in my kayak. thought about taking two life jackets and putting one on the deer if i got lucky. gut him out when i get back to launch site. a turkey would be no problem.

no current where i've canoed to while deer hunting on Cherokee Lake. might could fit a deer in my 'yak if i boned the meat out...And pull you downstream in even a light current
You indeed can. This is actually a "riverhawk" . Made by the brother that designed gheenoe or something lol. I went down that rabbit hole and now can't remember lol. I found it on marketplace , it looks way different nowi've looked at those...and their price tag! buddy used to have a Coleman Scanoe, i still keep a lookout for one of those... that Gheenoe looks like you could stand up in it no sweat.
