Who knows what's what, but I saw on one message board that AU has put together a huge deal for him, and that the ball is in his court awaiting his decision.

Knowing his character, I think he'll take it; and then when Saban quits at the end of the year, he'll take the Bama job and leave in the middle of the night because it's his second dream job 😀!

I don't think he goes to Auburn. Why would he? It's a lateral move. Another middle-tier SEC West team. They also have boosters who are notorious for meddling. Why fool with that?

He will get a big contract at a better program.

Ole Miss can't afford to keep him anyway, partially due to old state laws that prohibit a coach from having longer than a 4 year contract.

Kiffin has had 5 HC jobs... his never made it longer then 4 years at any of them. Even if Ole miss could offer 6 years he would never stay that long.

If he does make the move to AU he would finish 3ed in the west Bama and LSU go 9-3 maybe 10-2 be no better off then he currently is at Ole miss then jump ship again in 3-4years. That's kiffins move.

Lane seems to clearly be grooming himself for the ALABAMA job for whenever Saban decides to step down. And Saban has set NO timeline for that to happen. I don't see him going to auburn and that dumpster fire. Why would he? Its more a lateral move with a bit of a pay bump and a little more of a extended contract is all. If he does not turn things around in a couple of seasons they will most certainly be looking to fire him. He could screw things up pretty badly at Ole Miss and they will keep him around. That's all they are offering him. He can tough it out at Ole Miss and be looking at the grand prize.

Does ALABAMA want him? No one knows that but ALABAMA. I think Nick Saban will probably have some guidience with the administration when he steps down and some reccomendations. I can only imagine the two (at this point and time) that they would be looking at would be Dabo and Lane. But who knows what would develop down the road??? Its only the #1 job in College football so every coach will be gunning for it. They can get whoever they want.

I just googled Official moving company of lane Kiffin… 0 results. Someone out there is missing out on an endorsement that would make money!
I just googled offical trash removal companies for the tn vols and the name Lane Kiffin came up. Seems hes the go to man when trash gets thrown on the field.

I don't know why any coach would want to coach at alabama, they would suck, and fired in 6 months gauranteed

The talk is gaining momentum with his going to Auburn.

Personally, I don't think he would want to follow in Saban's footsteps anyway. And, I don't see him putting up with the typical Bammers.

Laws can be changed……
