Ole Miss and TN play every 8 years or so. Bama and Saban will have to go against him every year. I can't wait to see how Kiffin adds wrinkles to frustrate Bama and eventually win one as Ole Miss has been known to do. I'm also curious to see if Kiffin takes the same tact and throws out the same barbs and knife twists he used on everyone while at TN.

Kiff kiff is like a modern day Spurrier. They are fun to have around, entertaining, and easy to hate.

It's official. A statement has been releaesd. I don't think he's a GREAT coach - but I don't think we could get anyone better. (I'm assuming Norvell is going to FSU)
I'm also please that Keith Carter seems to be making this decision himself - not by some committee of good ol boys as they've done in the past.
I won't worry about next year's record too much. The schedule is brutal. Our first 5 of our first 7 games are Baylor, Auburn, LSU, Alabama, and Florida. There's a solid chance we're 2-5 at that point. Aside from the coaching this year, we just didn't have that much real talent.
I'll look for better play calling, having the players play hard the entire game, discipline, and recruiting. After 2020 I'll be expecting better results.
On the plus side, Kiffin is a "name" that will put people in the seats, at least for a couple of games. The program needs some energy injected.
Well Kiffin is officially the head coach of Ole Miss. I think this is a very good hire for them.

Great hire for the Rebs. He will cause problems for the Vols in WTN recruiting-especially in Memphis.
I suspect the NCAA is looking to buy a house in Oxford as it will be cheaper than long term rental. I'm not sure Ole Miss will survive another Rev. Hugh type of deal. But, for sure, it will be interesting!
