Great story! Congrats on th kill. I would think about a full body mount on one like this.

That thought crossed my mind a little too late. I could have made a pretty cool dead mount display with old stuff from around their farm. But a fan mout will have to do since I cut him up and before thinking much about it. God willing there will still be turkeys out there when my son gets old enough to hold up his turkey gun. If he kills one there I'll have a better chance of convincing his mother that a full mount is necessary.
