I got my Samik out the other day to shoot it for the first time since I bought it last year. Had a flemish string put on it after I bought it and checked to see what it was actually drawing ( 62# at 28 in. ) and put it away. I am very pleased with the way it shot especially for it being a lower end bow. More than likely it will see alot more time in the woods this year than my new compound. Anybody else dusting off the ole stick and string. And if anyone is looking to get into a traditional bow i would recommend a Samik. It not as finely crafted as my dream catcher but for the money its a pretty good one.
