Ky Lake Crappie

20 mph north winds are brutal on the water but when you are a working man you fish when you can. Went to the lake yesterday for a couple hours and put some slabs in the box. The numbers weren't great but the quality was. Caught 4 over 13" and 1 over 12". Had 1 short fish and a bass.

Now I got to figure out what is wrong with my electronics. Neither one of them would work yesterday.

It can make even the worst crappie fishermen good. Ask @Spurhunter. Now if he only had a livescope for turkey hunting.

nice fish. wondered how it turned out with the wind whipping usually churns the flats to chocolate milk in some creeks. had to be admitted to hospital so ive been out of it.

necks time you have trouble text me and i can be at the ramp in 10 min. i always have an extra unit or two you could use.

i dont see how anyone ever caught crappie consistently in deep lakes before livescope. Im amazed at how much barren water there is in some of the deep reservoirs I fish. i have mad respect for those who can catch them without it, but i like to put crappie in oil so have it lol

I had swapped batteries and went to lithium for my electronics. Found a loose wire. I figured it was something simple but I was ready to fish.
