For those interested, this season's Last Chance U has just been released on Netflix. I'm still enjoying it after a couple of episodes, but it's a step down from last year ... the players (and coaches) are obviously playing to the camera much more than the first season. On the other hand, it looks like the shows popularity helped EMCC with recruiting; this year they have rebound players from FSU, Penn State, Louisville, Georgia and Texas Tech.
 
Yes I'm about 5 episodes in and it definitely isn't on last year's level. They obviously watched last year's show and are more cognizant of the cameras this year.

Now there's a show on Amazon titles All or Nothing that I wasn't aware. I just stumbled on it. It's NFL and the first season was Arizona season in 2015. I enjoyed it and it's a good substitute until football season.
 
They had the fsu QB last year. Had a UGA player as well. Haven't watched it yet so maybe have added more.
 
I really enjoyed last season. I drive through Scooba several times a year and keep saying I want to drive by the campus but never do.

Brittany Wagner was one of the stars of season 1, but I hear she has used has role on the show to springboard her career onto bigger and better things.

The coach really tames is down with the language this year. Though still a lot of cussing, not as bad as last year. I liked season 1 better but still crash watched this one in about a week.

I'm halfway surprised that the coach wasn't fired after the first season aired. He definitely sealed his fate if he ever had aspirations to coach Div 1 college. Heck, even if he wanted a premium high school coaching gig. Can you imagine what the blowback would be like if, say, nick saban were on film saying the things That came out of Stephens' mouth? Or, better yet, getting suspended from games for fighting with refs?

Sadly, that's the norm. It's the only way they can get these guy's attention.
