Late season LBL...

I was wondering if there was still any open bow huntin up yonder..I went in jan a few years ago and we saw a few deer...I was thinking bout trying to get on a good un up there next year but no better way to start than learn the ropes a lil this year..
Any 1 going up to bow hunt...Ive got the bow ready..
 
LBL bow season Sep. 26, 2009 - Jan. 18, 2010, all the quota hunts are done so it is all bow till the 18TH of Jan. Now is a great time for a NEWBIE to be up there. There are almost no hunters now so you can scout and move around without bothering or being bothered by others. The deer(does) are starting to come out of the wood works now. I am getting ready to fill my two tags shortly if I can't get on a day-light buck.
 
I am wanting to hed up that way but im gonna have to find out what areas r open and get a rundown of the rules...But i am really wanitng to get a arrow er two bloody..
 
The whole place is open now, even some of the off limit areas.

I have been a handful of days in the last couple weeks. Seeing does is not an issue. Have seen some bucks with the biggest being about a 100" 8 point. Just havent seen the one I have been waiting on, getting ready to start filling some tags too!!
 
WEll im outa work so i think i mite have to tryn get up there after x mas...maybe ill run into some of yall...
 
I went this morning till noon. I sat in a spot where I have been seeing does all morning. I was quiet and still(the older I get the harder it is to do this for any amount of time), the weather was good(cold), the wind was in my face, and I was ready. Today was a fill a tag day, so if it was a good doe or better it was on. Well,,, I NEVER seen, heard, smelled, or imagined I seen a deer. lol, Guess I will try again after X-mas.
 
How many of you guys are hunting this weekend? I went tuesday and seen a real nice buck, hoping I see him again.
 
Man it was a cold one with that wind.Seen a few deer.Had one come in real early about 45 til shooting light.
 
Not much time left to hunt but me and my Dad are actually on the way there to hunt for a few days. I will let u know what we find out. I ask about LBL a few days ago but got no replies...might be a bad sign!

Been here for a couple of days and seeing does in the evening filling tags tomorrow I hope, heading home Sat.
