I checked my new location today and I must say I am PLEASED  My wife and kids have been walking a road I bush hogged out last week, and apparently, the deer do not mind. Two bush hogged trails converge and I put out a mineral block, which is between my wife and daughter in the first pic. I need this to keep my spirits up after the move...

This is my wife and kids walking back toward the house. Keep an eye on the time. Block had only been out for an hour at this point...

what are the opinions on the size of those bucks come november?

I don't know how big they'll be. I encountered the buck in the first picture walking the edge of a field to place a camera. He was with a doe that was HUGE! She was very tall, and very long. I'm not sure I've seen a bigger doe. She was way bigger bodied than he was. The buck in the last pic may be 8-10 pts by fall. Lets hope he's just the little brother! :D

that wound will all be healed up come oct 1 when the cool air sweeps across iowa and illinois and your sitting perched in a stand!! Thank you Jesus for Indiana deer hunting!!

Yep. That cool air is moving in tonight... It was almost 90 degrees yesterday, and I was shivering in the pool. NO HUMIDITY! That is gonna take some getting used to...But I do like not sweating like a hog in early June!
