ALABAMA and Clemson are arguably the two most RELEVANT teams in all of NCAA football as of right now. Have been for quite some time. So yeah there is good reason to talk about them.

Lets face it there are a lot of teams we talk about every day on here that are simply not relevant, not going to be relevant,,will never be relevant...and that's ok.

I believe saban is there until he wins one more NC. I think he planned on leaving after last season honestly, thought he had it in the bag. He was gonna go out on top and get his hip surgery over with and enjoy riding off in the sunset, but dabo and Clemson had other plans.

Saban just signed a 7 year deal 2 years ago . He's not going Anywhere

Agree contract don't mean anything. If he wins another National Championship, I think he will go. If he doesn't win another in the next 5 yr, I think he will retire or go elsewhere.

I don't know Sabans plans, but I know a lot of people (especially other SEC fans) hope he retires.

Yeah you probably right about other SEC fans. I personally think he is a great coach and Alabama probably stands the best chance of making it to the National Championship game. I pull for the SEC. I also know all good things come to an end sooner or later. On the off chance LSU made it, I would pull for them.

LSU might have some problems on defense... Gave up 30+ points against Texas and Vandy. Their offense is legitimate.....

Defense wins championships... if not the pac-12 would be relevant... :rotf:

I don't know Sabans plans, but I know a lot of people (especially other SEC fans) hope he retires.

Saban is a proven top coach period.... I hate that for my Gators and other teams in the SEC.... Saban stinks.... :rotf:

Yes, UT is in the SEC and this is a TnDeer forum.... So UT will be relevant..... :mrgreen:

I wouldn't use harsh words as UT .... UT is pretty bad and an easy target for rival fans these days. I actually miss the good ole days when UT was good and it was competitive.

Even bad teams can be relevant when they are in the best conference and the majority of their fans are on a forum.... :tu:
