some very nice hit listers yall have...I wish I had a hit list...to much baseball caused me to be lazy in getting the cameras at the farm set up..so as of now I am just looking for that surprise buck to show up. LOL

Yup, th Reconyx has two lenses; one for daytime and one for night. I need to replace the daytime lens on that camera. I suspect it is heat warping.

Take 1 off my hit list.The tall 8 in the 3rd photo came by me at 6pm this evening at 15yards and quartering away.Easy kill but this buck has only about 2in brow tines but does have lots of mass,I have killed a couple of larger 8s so this on walked.

Yes i let him walk.Such an easy shot also.I have killed many many 8 pointers and maybe 2 larger than this one.He was surely mature enough just two in brow tines.Its the largest i have let walk and i wont regret it.I have eaten tags before.

Been a bad year for me with the trail cameras, but this is the best one I've gotten.

I am guessing he is a 4.5, I'm pretty sure this is the same deer that bedded down beside me last year during the rut. He took a break for about 10 minutes, and he must have been fighting because one side of his rack was snapped off half way up the main beam.
