This weekend I have a good buddy whose wife's family owns a farm in Lincoln County. I have to opportunity to go hunt it this weekend and possibly the rest of the season. I know good chance of rain up there Sat but Temps going to be warm like everywhere else on Sunday when we are going. What's activity like right now? I'm going to get main area the farm is in and post soon as I know. Thanks!

Starting to see more movement in Lincoln, Marshall, Giles. I avoid my short cut coming home through Petersburg area morning/evening out of respect for my front grill

Thanks for all the replies, now if I can only figure out where to hunt at the farm lol
Start at the outside and work your way in. Try to scout ahead of time and get a feel for where they come and go, then hunt the wind accordingly. Good luck! Sounds like a goldmine

It's in the Petersburg area, north of Belleville and west of Lynchburg
I hunt due East of that area about 12 miles on Lincoln/Moore County line. Pre rut movement is usually staring up with second week better than the first. Go if you can cause you won't get one sitting at home. Good hunting.

Very true, I'll be there thus weekend and try to go back every chance I can 😆

I live in LC BIGGGG deer here but the rut is a month away
I have found the primary rut runs around last two weeks of Nov on the LC/MC line where I hunt. Used to hunt the Boone's Hill area, W LC and found the rut ran an about a week later, first week of Dec, there. Is that about what you've found?
