Lincoln County Hunt

It's in the Petersburg area, north of Belleville and west of Lynchburg

I hunt due East of that area about 12 miles on Lincoln/Moore County line. Pre rut movement is usually staring up with second week better than the first. Go if you can cause you won't get one sitting at home. Good hunting.

I hunted that same area for 14 years. I miss it.

I have found the primary rut runs around last two weeks of Nov on the LC/MC line where I hunt. Used to hunt the Boone's Hill area, W LC and found the rut ran an about a week later, first week of Dec, there. Is that about what you've found?

I'm on the LC/FC border and the hot rut is normally around Christmas till the seasons end

The bucks are just starting to search a little bit. Historically, the week of Thanksgiving is peak chasing.

Headed back from the property. Went and walked some of it, found a good rub line and a few scrapes on the middle of a finger between some bedding areas that are grown up fields so i sat up shop there. Only had a few hours but maybe I'll get lucky
