What are you going to do with shad? Use them as hammers? Lol. The only ones I ever caught I put on the stringer and tossed back in the water to keep fresh, 15 minutes later you could drive nails with them.

I haven,t stopped to see their set up but there is a bait shop near Melton Hill day that advertises live Shad.

I saw that and stopped in one morning- They have 6 or 8 huge tanks out back with different sized live shad- It's a good set up and the prices were reasonable-kind of like a drive through, we just pulled around back and they used a pump to fill our bait tank and netted us out a couple dozen-

Why couldn't you put them in a cooler or a five gallon bucket of water and use a bubblebox like you use for a minnow bucket?

Just curious.
