Logging, and Hunting.

Personally, I don't see mature bucks change anything but their movement times around a lot of human non-hunting activity. They just moved at night.

I suggest, if possible, be there before daylight before they begin working. Of course hunt normal areas that you would hunt. When they begin working it can act as a drive.
 
There's nothing like actual observation and experience. Seen it, done it, witnessed it type experience. After 7mo of a large scale thinning operation I'm 100% convinced of a negative immediate effect on deer and hunting. Will it improve habitat and is it healthy for the residual stand…absolutely. But the impact is crystal clear…this year looks nothing like last years hunting and camera data.
