IMHO a Lane Kiffin might be as good of a get as its going to get for the vols. I really don't see them picking up a Gruden . No one really wants the job with all the problems going on there.

After hearing the rest of the story (or at least some of it), it looks like Jennings brought this on himself.

-No-show at a practice before GA Tech... Was found in his room stoned.

-He's been almost completely absent from the team since his injury, with Butch covering by saying 'JJ is such a fierce competitor, it makes him sick to have to watch.'

-After being medically cleared to play and practice, JJ walked out of practice after coaches wouldn't let him play QB.

Sorry, JJ... The inmates no longer run the asylum. Bye.

Apparently there's much more. One current UT staffer told a reporter that JJ was one of the three most difficult to control players on the team. Makes me wonder who the other two are.

Although I agree with the decision, I'm not sure it should have came from a temporary coach.
