Well, I took Friday off from work as we were finally having some decent weather.
This bird gobbled 300 yards away at 6:15, 6:25 I'd closed to 70 yards by slipping through a creak bed, he pitched down and a couple of soft purrs pulled him to 20...bang flop. First year getting serious about my turkey hunting and I tagged out with 2 longbeards each wiht 1.25 spurs and 11plus beards.
