thought this ammo scare wasn't going to effect every caliber, but I was going to order some 340wby shells for my moose hunt this fall.and man I cant believe the price jump from last year.shells that were 70.a box are now 110.a box.

If you think ammo is bad just wait till you start looking for reloading components. I am betting ammo comes back before reloading supplies.

Primers remain nonexistent except for the occasional box you stumble on at inflated prices. Weatherby brass has always been quite expensive so I hope you have been keeping your empties. Depending on your bullet weight, 180 in particular, I have seen IMR7828 at Grafs just recently and Shooters Pro shop has .338 rounds pretty often, you just have to go back twice a day as inventory moves awfully quick. Just remember Friday morning they add inventory.

Primers and brass just seem to have vanished.

Primers are not as hard for me to find as brass. Went in a shop yesterday and the guy had plenty of CCI large rifle primers. I think he was asking better than 50.00 a thousand. I need 300wsm brass at a reasonable price and can't find any.
