I did a quick comparison here. The price range is interesting, $300 to $1100.
I'm not sure what these "Black" finishes are or how they will hold up. But I suspect they are not the high polish hot blued finishes of past like what Smith & Wesson had. But I generally choose stainless for carry. I have a Nickel Model 36 that is the only gun I've kept a long time because it was my first off duty gun. I keep thinking I'm going to get a .357 Model 60, but haven't got around to it yet.
