As of 7:30am on 05/1, total is now at 34,718. just the first hour & 1/2 of May 1, there was 49 birds killed. All 4 regions are now over the 7K mark for the first time ever. If the trend continues with May kills, the avg from '06-19 is 3,507 but if you take from '13-19, that avg jumps to 4,127. Based on the data, I wouldn't be surprised if we have a massive drop in kills for the next 4-5 years. The state will need to reduce bag limits to keep population at a stable level for a few years.
