Two dudes right up in the middle of our property today on their rangers...

They were sitting on the other side of the ranger on the ground trying to hide... guess they thought we wouldnt notice the two giant utvs sittin there

my old man asked em what was going on and they said.." awful good looking flock of turkeys you got up here". When they were informed they were riding on private property they said, " aww we aint hurting nothing".

These guys got benefit of the doubt as do most people we catch screwing off first time... but this one really pushed my buttons and I would love nothing more than to catch em in camo come april.

I should just be thankful I got a couple of places of my own, but its a dang pain to just keep people off of it.

His aint hurting no one statement would have earned him a tresspass ticket on the spot!!! Now if he would have been apologetic then yeah i would give benefit of the doubt.

Quit being nice. Call the GW and press charges. After one or two have to pay a ticket the word gets around and most, but not all, will stay off your property.

Year before last I was turkey hunting on our place... the dude that owns behind us occasionally leases his place out to big wigs for turkeys.. no big deal.

I had been working this bird half the morning and couldnt get him to commit so I walked down the hill to the truck to take a break. As im standing around I hear hens calling up a couple hundred yds behind where I was set up earlier. I knew there was no hens back there because they were all in the bottom with the gobblers...

There is a corner that kinda juts down into our property and as I walk up there this is where I find the 2 dudes sitting with their shottys poked thru the fence.

I proceded to let em know what I thought about it and low and behold.. One of them was a Dickson county cop and the other guy was the owner of Yellew Yelper.. some turkey call company out of arkansas....

They argued with me for a couple minutes that I messed THEIR bird up! Then he wanted to have some kinda stupid call off with me to prove his calls were better.. I was so shocked I didnt even know what to say at this point.

Dude eventually tryed to get me to lay off by offering me abunch of free calls. I told him to head on back over the hill... Nothing I could do since, "technically" the were hunting property they had permission to hunt.

Keep an eye on them, because they know the birds are there. They may not wait until April.

Do you know the guys? If they have access to anything close, they may try to bait them away from you.
