Congrats! I wouldn't mind those regs, reduced pressure that first week allows for more breeding and that's why the gobblers stay vocal in MO. AND, that's why MO has one of the best, if not the best turkey hunting and best turkey population in the country.
 
That's a midget for MO ;).... but seriously, some of the biggest birds in the country come from MO.... one of these days I'm gonna make some time to hunt there!

3 week season, 2 bird limit, no afternoon hunting. It's definitely QUALITY over quanity. :tu:

You wouldn't call him a midget if you had to tote him down the ridge and a half a mile to the truck like I did! He wasn't the beast I came for but a 22-14 two year old is getting there. I saw one in a field strutting that was an absolute giant. They are here!

22-14 is a midget here in TN, at least this year it is. :D but regardless that's a heavy bird and especially when you gotta tote him a good ways to the truck.
