Lowdown viewer?

I like the idea of scanning 1,000 pics, eight at a time on a 7in screen. Or 1 at a time on a 9in screen. Pick maybe 3 or 4 i want to keep and load them onto a separate SD card. I like the idea of freezing a video, zoom in on a target buck, snap a shot and send it to a separate SD card.Dont like to download thousands of pics on my computer
only the have to scan through for the few i want and then deleting the rest.
Most all my reviewing cards is done in my camper. No large tv and no computer access.
If i want to view in the field i take my Stealth viewer. Still to slow.
Not totally sold on it but would really like to hear from someone who has one

I bought the $9 ONN card reader from Walmart and plug it into my phone. There are no wires involved. In the past every card reader that involved wire shorted out before seasons end. The ONN does not have any wire and is more like a USB drive. I used it to transfer about 50,000 images and videos last year throughout the season not one issue.

What do you do when you have that 1 or 2 pics out of hundreds that you want to save? Do you view 1 pic then delete it, go to the next and so on. Viewing 1 pic at a time going through 1,000s of pick one 1 card has got to be time consuming. Surely dont want to do it sitting out in the heat and getting eat up by skeeters. I dont have issues with card readers attached to phones. I have issues with how long it takes I have issues with small screens and old eyes.

I move them all into a folder on my phone and put the SD card back in the cam then leave. I'll go through the pictures back at my house. That's an option. But most my cams have 2 sd cards assigned to it and I'll just swap cards and leave

I used to think the only way to view them was to download all of them and I immediately threw that out the window. Hell no. However, someone showed me how to do it without downloading anything. Game changer. If I want to save a pic, I screenshot it and move onto the next. When done, delete all off card. The only thing that went onto my phone were my screenshots.

Like the sound of that. Definantly will try that. Very helpful. Thanks

I have 2 cards for every camera. I rarely go through pics in the field (other than to make sure the camera is in the right spot, pointed the right way, etc.). I just swap cards and go onto the next camera. I can delete/save and then reformat pulled card later.

x 2
It's just too easy to miss something with a small screen.

Another option for some of you might be to just get you a used laptop (15 to 17" screen") and carry that around in your vehicle to view pics before you go home. I look at a lot of pics from the truck, but never at the cam site in the field.

same routine for me as well. Too easy to just swap cards and view at home on the PC in the AC!

Majority of the time this is what I do too...screenshot...crop if needed...save...then delete everything on card....but at camera I just swap card and get out of there.
