Art Briles has also came up a bunch along with the Houston coach Tom Herman. I wouldn't want to see kiffen. Just still not sure about him being HC.
I could see David Shaw maybe coming down but, idk how he would do in the SEC

they won't hire briles, too much baggage. i don't think the sec will let lsu hire briles
 
Briles would be a good hire football wise but hes always gonna have the Baylor cloud on him.


It will take big $$$ to get Herman I think. Would Houston pony up the dough to hang on to him?

I read this morning that LSU has reached out to Briles. Surely your source is the more accurate of the two. Briles would be a very bad hire.
 
I think Jimbo or Herman is who they want. Will take big $$$$$ to get either. I thought that was the main issue with firing Les last year. $$$$. I think they wind up taking Kiffin in a pinch.

Yes, footballscoop.com (never heard of it) reporting money won't be an obstacle and LSU plans to contact the agents of Meyer, Saban, Fisher, and Herman. If true, I think that's Notre Dame level arrogance and delusion.

If David Cutcliffe were 10 years younger the LSU spot would be his if he wanted it.

I'm not saying that because he beat Notre Dame. He had already proven himself before Saturday.
