Made some sauce Sunday

Started with 15pints of home canned tomatoes and added 12lbs of fresh tomatoes(store bought Romas and Granger county TN slicing tomatoes, 2 cans of tomato paste). Boiled it all down for about 4hrs then added fresh garlic, oregno, basil, black pepper, salt, red pepper flakes and 3 bay leaves, added hamburger, EVO and meatballs. Simmered it for about another 2-3hrs and made some hot Italian sausage in the iron skillet. Made the noodles, bread and salad and family pigged out. Ended up with probably 1.5gallon of sauce after cooking down and ready. Did it to try out my camp chef stove and tomato press (got 25 mater plants out in the garden just waiting on the maters). It was all very good.
