Man does anyone make waterproof boots anymore

I used to hunt this field with tall grass. Even boots didn't work! I wore waders to stay dry. It also let me cross the creeks with ease. I say with ease, I went down a bank once and my crossbow quiver fell off the bow and was swept away. :( Luckily I had my shotgun in the truck, but had to walk back to get it.

this! grange. uninsulated and very comfortable
What I wear when I know I will be trudging through slash water for hours at a time. Put in an aftermarket insole and you are golden.

All I have ever worn is LaCrosse Grange uninsulated, although I have been considering some Chippewas. The quality of the Grange used to be incredible. They would last for years. Now they are made in China and 3 years turkey hunting and warm weather deer hunting is about the best I can get. 2 years is more likely. I still like them though. Comfortable and waterproof. I will say on a hot day your feet will get warm, especially if you are sitting with your feet in the sun.

Yeah I've had grange before and they are fine but I want a shorter lighter boot in non rubber. Those grange on a hot day sitting in the sun will cook your feet lol

UPDATE

contacted Danner about the boots leaking and they said send them back and they will look at them. Im about 12 days past the 1 year warrenty but they said they would still review them and see what they can do. sent me a call tag and they are in the mail. Guess we will see what happens but now Im minus lightweight boots for the rest of the season most likely :(

Go to Lowes an get Thompson Water seal that is used on wooden decks. Apply to leather boots an let it dry then put on a secon coat. You can also use this on your hunting coats an caps. It is a higher percentage silicone than camp dry an lots cheaper
