I might have a chance to buy an 07 Outback for $300 setup ready to shoot. I was just wondering if anyone here has one or has shot one. What do you think about them? I have never owned a Mathews or really looked at them for that matter. I did draw a monster back last year and I did not care for it at all. It was stiff and had a harsh roll over. The backwall was soft too.It could be just what i'm used too.
I currently shoot a Diamond now so I am more used to the smooth pull of a single cam with a solid backwall.
Just wondering if this is a good deal on this bow. Thanks

I used to have one. If I hadn't switched to left handed I would probably still have it. I really like the bow. It's smooth, quiet, and vibration free. At least mine was anyway.

my backup/3D bow is an outback. it is one of only 3 bows to make me go "wow" when i shot it for the first time.

Not sure on the sights and stuff. He's supposed to let me shoot it today or tomorrow so I will get to check it out then. Dad works with the guy and knows him pretty well. Dad says he takes good care of his stuff and likes to use quality gear when it comes to hunting.

That's what I have been shooting since they came out with the outback. I think mine is an 04 but could be an 05 model and l really like how smooth it's is. Make sure it's the right draw length for you. Good luck

Yeah. He said it was set on 29 in draw. That's what I shoot.
