Florida recruiting can only get better because it can't get any worse

Kinda reminds me of what happened with Lane Kiffin, for some strange reason. A year ago, Lane Kiffin was the laughing stock of college football coaches and nobody liked him, or even wanted him. Now that Alabama has hired him, he is a genius and a great coach! Really? I agree, if you are loyal to a team you should support the coach, but how quickly people forget what was said or done just days, weeks, or months ago. Just jump on the bandwagon and ride on! So typical of people today. Many people will ride any wagon, if it takes them to the top or gives an advantage over others. :stir:

Lane Kiffin has never proven himself as a good head coach but is a very good OC. Coach Mac has turned around a program as a head coach and a proven OC....

In recent years, Butch Jones has done a lot too. Surely you can agree with that?

He took a 12-1 Brian Kelly team to 4-8 his first year at Cincy....... :tu:

What a coincidence. That's what Mcelwangs record was in his first year of the amazing turn around for the Mountain Goats of Colorada Tech.

Coach Mac took over a 3-9 team.... Not a 12-1 team like CBJ did. I'm sure we can talk about Cincy and E. Mich conference.???? Coach Mac has been in the SEC and NFL..... Also serves up a mean Dr. Pepper... :rotf:

You are really great at twisting everything to your advantage and making it be the way you want it. You dodged the question of what Butch Jones has done in a period (recent years). I did not say his first year. No coach can be accurately evaluated because of their performance during a one year period. Ok! I give up. You have finally convinced me. I am no longer a VOL fan. I am now a Gator Fan! I feel better already! And to that I say: NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO VOLS!!!!!! :D :super:

That settles it then. Been in the SEC and the NFL. He is and will be the greatest coach in all the land of college football. Why isn't he still in the NFL?

Derek Dooley was a head coach in the SEC and is working in the NFL right now. He's a loser all the same. Ice cold DR. Pepper here.... :rotf: :rotf:

Dooley was also a HC at a small school and his best record was 8-5. He was a TE coach in the SEC. Dooley was only hired because of his last name. Him or CBJ never had one of the top offenses in the country. Coach Mac has had one of the best offenses in the country both at Bama and CSU. Time will tell.... :pop:

Like I asked before. Why isn't he still coaching in the NFL?

Furthermore, since his offense is so outstanding, why isn't he still at Alabama? Are you telling me that Kiffin stole his job?

Gentlemen: It's been fun, but I am off to bed for the night! Maybe this is to be continued, maybe not. However it goes from here, GO VOLS!!!!! :super: Goodnight!
