Gentlemen: It's been fun, but I am off to bed for the night! Maybe this is to be continued, maybe not. However it goes from here, GO VOLS!!!!! :super: Goodnight!

Same back at you and tomorrow is another day....... :stir:

Yea it is about that time. I'm sure GNB can't wait to get to sleep and have ever so awesome dreams of Mcelwang. or Coach Mac, as he's so affectionately come to know him, in less than 2 weeks. :?

Kinda reminds me of what happened with Lane Kiffin, for some strange reason. A year ago, Lane Kiffin was the laughing stock of college football coaches and nobody liked him, or even wanted him. Now that Alabama has hired him, he is a genius and a great coach! Really? I agree, if you are loyal to a team you should support the coach, but how quickly people forget what was said or done just days, weeks, or months ago. Just jump on the bandwagon and ride on! So typical of people today. Many people will ride any wagon, if it takes them to the top or gives an advantage over others. :stir:

One of the best seasons Tennessee has had Since Fulmer was under Kiffin. They even almost beat Alabama. TN fans were pretty upset when he left in the middle of the night. I wasn't excited about Alabama hiring him initially, but it seems to be working out well.

Like I asked before. Why isn't he still coaching in the NFL?

Furthermore, since his offense is so outstanding, why isn't he still at Alabama? Are you telling me that Kiffin stole his job?

He is not at Bama because he got a HC job. I mean that's pretty easy to follow right?

Coach Mac has had one of the best offenses in the country at CSU.

Your fact checker at work, AGAIN, for you!

I thought surely they would be top 5, or at least top 10. But #17, this year, in that stellar defensive conference, is what you are hanging your hat on :D ?

Leaving Alabama, such a prestigious, winning dump of a football program in the middle of their hayday to coach at Colorado State in the Mountain West? Either bad blood or underperformed to Sabans standards if you ask me. No, sorry. I dont follow.

That still leaves the question about the NFL. He must be an NFL reject like Saban.

Im glad Alabama likes him. I dont.

You vols should be worried about your White Castle Mustard and Onion Bowl game. Might want to give ole Dave Hart a nice Christmas present too. He's the Bama guy you're paying that got you that bowl instead of the Memphis Ghetto Bowl.

Toenail. Thats a great name. Might I suggest adding "clipping" to it.

While Im in the process of mailing Christmas cards, would you like one too? Your an Alabama guy as well so you must have had something to do with TNs bowl also. The world would not turn without Alabama football or its fans would it?

Im glad Alabama likes him. I dont.

Not many people like their ex's that leave them for a more attractive mate in the middle of the night. :poke:

My dislike for him has nothing to do with him leaving for that "more attractive mate" USC. He proved to be pretty useless there also. If he didnt have little Nicky holding his hand at Bama hed be screwing that up too. Saban has had to tell him in every close game theyve had to run the ball because his pass happy playbook was gonna get them beat.

I dont like him because hes a d-bag from way back. He fits right in at Alabama.

CBJ has done a lot lately He has restored Tennessee to all its former glory He's got them 6-6 and a spot in the tax slayer bowl
