What's yalls experience/reviews with these mounts? That go on the rib?

I don't like tapping into the receiver honestly, but have a couple guns with a scope on the receiver.

Thanks.

Take a look at the Warne Rib Mount. It's very solid and has holes for different footprints.

Have one in my Stoeger 3020 and a Swampfox Liberty Red Dot. Put a little blue loctite on the four mounting screws for the meadow Creek itself, then a dab on the two screws that attach the red dot to the Meadow Creek. I have ran about 10 light target loads through it along with 20-25 turkey shells in two years. Zero issues with the mount at all. Kept zero, east install and removal, quick sight picture. Honestly I will probably not mount a red dot on the receiver of a turkey gun again.

I have the meadow Creek mount on a 20 ga weatherby element. I really like it , quick target acquisition and is rock solid. I bought the combo package and got the swamp Fox kingslayer a red dot with mine. I think the sentinel replaced the kingslayer. Either way the mount is nice!!!

I have one on an over under I use as a back up. No complaints really, the mount itself is super solid.

it comes down to what you prefer visually. Some like the sight way out in front so you have a much wider FOV around it but the dot is slightly harder to see or aim. Some like them much closer to your eyes that makes it almost scope like view and aim. I personally like it as close to my eyes as I can ( i use a speed bead so its very close) vs out in front. Neither is wrong just personal preferences. I shot 1 of mine with that O/U last year and the sight being out front didnt impact my aiming.

I have some mounted on receiver on other guns and like them.
I now have a SBEIII in 20. I just don't want holes in my receiver. That's really the bottom line to me inquiring about these rib mounts.
