Maybe when you see something several times a day, it loses some of the glimmer. I walk under the small 5X5 over a dozen times a day. This morning, I stopped and looked at it.

I could almost smell the frost. This was the first bull elk I killed with a bow. I believe it was 197??, just above Spread Creek in the Tetons. It was a 12-yard shot and he ran about 150-yards...downhill, away from the truck of course. My B-I-L and I dined on him sumptuously that night. I wish i could remember what bow I was shooting. I believe it was a 55#, fixed draw American.

Good memory :)

I don't have near the memories that you do by a looong shot, but I know it's a good feeling to let yourself go back to that moment in time when you took one of your trophies. That's what it's all about.

Very
