Memphis Area Urban Hunting folks

Is there anybody in the Memphis area that urban hunts.

I know there are some that hunt small chunks of private land inside the city limits, I used to talk to a guy at the gym that showed me some pics of deer he killed. I live in Bartlett, and I believe Bartlett needs an urban deer hunt to thin the numbers, doubt it will ever happen though.

Pretty sure it happens but I'm also pretty sure no one is gonna tell you about it.
The deer herd in Shelby county seems pretty healthy outside of the WMAs

EDIT: And when I say this I'm not one of the urban hunters as much as its tempting seeing deer in Bartlett, Millington, and of course the herd at Shelby Farms. Think anyone's best bet legally would be to find someone with private land in those areas willing to grant permission. It'll a long shot though I'm sure.

One of your biggest hurdles is if the deer you shoot runs off of the property you have permission to hunt, you legally have to have permission from any additional landowners you go on to retrieve that deer.

That even applies to the social media whores.

It's going to be tough to find something like that If you don't already know someone. Besides that, leases are a whole different can of worms in TN now. It never hurts to ask though, good luck!
