Mexico....should Nascar or Not?

Hey guys...I read alot bunch of comments made on here week to week. Curious how ya'll feel about Nascar making the trip south of the border??

Personally... I dont think Nascar should broaden to Mexico. Why place the burden of having teams from the USA make the trip to compete in a field, to help drive an economy that is already a strain on the US? I am not trying to make this forumn a political one (seeing we already have one) but, what is next.... China?
 
their taking money away from folks that support them here in the USA,its the fans that pay them the big bucks so when they take it south very few fans from here will go there,reckon folks down there save all year to get in to see them run? ,mike243
 
No , NASCAR has already alienated their core fans by building tracks on the West coast . They can't fill the seats for the California race .
They won't hold a Cup race at Nashville or in Kentucky because they want to expand into other markets .
 
They won't let Nashville have a race so I don't think they need to be going to Taco City for one. Nascar seems to have forgotten who brought them to the dance and where their roots are. They say Bristol and Atlanta are close enough to Nashville even though they could sell it out every week if they wanted to. Pure B.S. in my opinion.

I agree , they have alienated their core fan base ,and that's why TV ratings have dropped off in recent years as well .
 
Well, I didnt know if it was just me or not..... glad to see someone feels the same as me....

Nashville and Kentucky both would sell out so fast....especially the concrete in Nashville!

It aint the same as it was 10-yrs ago. I dont get half as excited..
