Miles LSU

Miles said today that the next game is his last regular season game as LSU's coach.

The LSU AD and a few powerful boosters are morons.

Not really. If you have watch any LSU football in the past 4 season you would see miles gets out coached easily. He may start a season strong but he ends up finishing it well below what the team is capable of. 4th strait season finishing in the middle of the pack of the SEC west. He brings in good recruits each year but doesn't do much with them.
He was in the hotseat last year after the loss to ND and losing 3 strait didn't help him this year.

Sounds like you're describing Phil Fulmer late in his tenure at UT. Boosters did the same thing they're doing to Miles and look where that got the Vols. The grass ain't always greener on the other side so just be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.

No the vols biggest mistake was hiring a bad coach after they fired Fulmer.

Agreed and thats my point. LSU sounds like they're banking on Jimbo Fisher based on all reports but if he says no then who's on the list? UT is not the only school to ever make multiple hiring snafus. Look at bama after Stallings retired. They had Dubose, Shula, Franchione, and Price that never coached a game if i have the name right. Sometimes people have short memories so just saying LSU better be careful or they'll be at the bottom of the west looking up.

I hope that they do have somebody to come in and replace him( if he is fired). I hope who they have is a coach that is well known. Fisher would be great. I would be very upset if it chip Kelly like I have heard a few people say.

What a total mess.

Miles should tell LSU to kiss his butt for even thinking of firing him and start a bidding war among the schools needing a head coach for his services.
