My double brow buck strolled by me the last day of muzzleloader. Then he disappeared. Not on any cameras. I feared for the worst. I believe he is 4.5 and would love for him to get another yr. last night in the wee hours, he strolled back past his favorite cam. It does look like he has been shot, but he appears healthy. Think he "dodged a bullet" or almost dodged a bullet i guess. To say im glad he is back is an understatement. Hes a 11 pt this yr. can only imagine what he will be next yr.

Great buck. He'll be a dandy next year as he already is this year.

It's amazing that they'll just vanish and we lose all hope they're still alive and then they just appear back up. Some times for me it's only one pic. I have one like that now. As far as score he wouldn't go much but I believe him to be a 5.5 and just a nice 8 pt. Had pics of him almost daily until about 10 days ago and haven't seen him since. Since KY rifle was open I have a feeling he may be dead but then again he might pop back up today. You just never know.

I had this buck's twin 50 yards from me for 20 minutes in 2019 with a hot doe and looked to be a solid 3 1/2-year-old then. Never got him on a camera and never saw him again. I passed the buck because I was trying to text an old friend who was hunting with me to climb down and take a poke at the buck. He missed seeing the deer by 30 seconds, and could hear the pair walking in the leaves beside the food plot.
